I’m SO excited to share this with you! You know when you get a gift for someone and you just know without a doubt that it’s going to be their most favourite gift ever? That’s how I feel about this sword I ordered for Ethan.
E is crazy-obsessed with anything Lord of The Rings / Hobbit related and spends all of his outdoor time playing sword fighting with a bamboo garden stake. Plastic doesn’t cut it for this kid, he would rather play with a stick than an exact replica Made in China. I thought Trade Me would be a good place to start the hunt and found exactly what I was looking for here.
I cannot rave enough about how awesome this sword is! It’s beautifully carved and finished, very smooth, well weighted and personalised beautifully. This is something my small boy will treasure and then pass down to his little brother who will love it some more. It will last that long because it is SO well crafted. Linda was fantastic to deal with and $35 + shipping was a fabulous price for something I am so excited about Ethan opening on Christmas Day.
