Dave, E and I were walking the dogs recently and took a different route, exploring a path we have never been down before. We crossed under the bridge next to the river and came upon a historical site!
The Riverhead Paper Mill converted an existing flour mill at the end of the 19th century and began operations. Unfortunately all that is left now awesome ruins and a large sign. E had so much fun climbing, exploring and pretending, it was very cool finding a new little corner of our lovely neighbourhood.
