Easy Hummus Recipe
I’d never made hummus before and heard my friends recount epic tales of failure and grossness so I was a bit nervous about throwing all of this YUM into the NutriBullet and crossing my fingers lol.
Turns out no luck was required as this recipe is totally straight forward and delicious! And it takes 5 minutes max. LOVE that yo.
Best Ever Hummus Recipe
1 can Chantal Organics Chickpeas, rinsed well
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup of olive oil, plus more for serving
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Chantal Organics Tahini
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Handful of flat leaf parsley
In a food processor (or NutriBullet) puree the chickpeas and garlic with the olive oil, lemon juice, tahini, cumin and 3/4 teaspoon salt until smooth and creamy.
Add 1 to 2 tablespoons water or extra lemon juice as necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
Transfer to bowl.
Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with the paprika and chopped parsley before serving.
