Karen Murrell Lipstick New Zealand Blog

The Lipstick Project Giveaway!

Wow, I was totally blown away by your wonderful responses to my selfie-spam that was The Lipstick Project!  It seems so many of you were inspired, motivated and just plain old ‘interested’ in giving lipstick a go but had never felt brave or comfortable enough to wear it.  The only tip I have is that it gets easier and you feel more and more babein every single time you wear it – do it!

If you missed the posts you can catch up here > The Lipstick Project #1 and here The Lipstick Project #2

Because the team at Karen Murrell are so amazing and we all want you to go forth and conquer lipstick we have a luscious giveaway!  Two readers here on the blog will each win their very own Karen Murrell #19 Racy Rata, a bright raspberry-red shade, pictured above.

To enter just comment below with your fave lip treatment, be it you favourite lipstick, lip gloss or even your favourite Chapstick flavour!  I will draw the winners Sunday 17th May at 10pm.  I have two more lipsticks to give away over on Facebook, so don’t be shy xx

I live in rural Auckland, New Zealand. Two boys, one big, one not so big and 2 boy dogs belong to me and I them. I love Coca Cola in all of its sugar-less forms and I love you internet. I take way too many pictures of my kids and collect them all here. This is what I am doing when I should be cleaning or cooking or doing other 'useful' things.

  1. My fave lip thing is definitely Fresh Sugar lip treatment in Honey. Perfect neutral hint of colour, and so nice for my lips!

  2. I love my loreal lip gloss in coral encore my sister bought me. 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway 🙂

  3. I loved my Revlon lippy in Retro Red – until my three year old smeared it all over the bathroom instead! This would be an awesome replacement.

  4. I love Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. It's a pale translucent pink, gives super shine and a little colour while making my lips soft and plump.

  5. I am a lippy girl as my lips feel dry without something on them; don't have a favourite but love anything from a lip balm, gloss or lipstick. Unlike you Melissa I carry one in my bag and wear it all the time…well balms at home all the time. Would love to try Karen Murrell – she has my name so it must be good!

  6. Waaaaaaaaaa – you updated your site look – love the wood! ( i have photo backdrop that looks similar)

But lets get real, I'm actually here for the lipstick.
I'm getting better at wearing colour on my face and my current love is Covergirl Smoochies lipgloss.
