What I Wore | Wardrobe Wednesday

16 weeks now, and this pregnancy is starting to zip along, there is definitely no shortage of growth in the belly department!  It’s time to start enjoying my clothes and getting some wear out of my favourite things before they no longer fit me ::::::sobs:::::.  But, I am back at work now and it is hot so at least I have a reason to dip into some of my summery faves.  If I could only get up early enough to do something with my hair……

Wardrobe Wednesday | I’m Back!

After feeling decidedly under the weather for the last couple of months, I’m finally coming right and beginning to get some of my blogging mojo back.  The best place to start is with Wardrobe Wednesday, which I have missed!  Regular, weekly posts are something that I enjoy but WW motivates me to try a little harder with what I wear, to step out of the box (sometimes) and to finish an outfit properly with accessories etc.  This outfit is certainly ordinary and nothing fabulous at all, but hey, it’s what I wore and I’m just celebrating that I even felt like joining in this week!

What I Wore | It’s really just jeans!

Wardrobe Wednesday nearly didn’t happen this week as I am at the beginning of a 12 day work stretch, I have a BIG trade show over the next four days, and practicality is winning over style at the moment, but this outfit pulled together well enough to share.  It’s so working mummy isn’t it?  Goal for next week is to wear some different shoes.

Boyfriend Jeans: Ancient Levis, my most favourite pair of jeans

T shirt: GAP

Cardy: Glassons

Jacket: Max

Shoes: Sperry Topsiders

Bag: GAP

Crystal Ring: Urban Outfitters

Necklace: The Warehouse

What I wore | I am a Librarian

This outfit really didn’t pan out that well and my photographer is losing interest in me as a model {translated as he just wants to take silly face pictures of himself}.  I think this skirt needs to be saved for summer with a tank top or fitted t-shirt, the cardy combined with a past the knee pencil skirt really gives me a Nana look I wasn’t really shooting for.  Hmmpppff.  At least my nails look good!

This stuff only happens to me right?

Today, like every other day, I finished work at 2pm so I could drive the 16km back home and pick Ethan up from school at 2.30.  No problem there right?

At 2.35 I was still searching for my keys.  I had called the school and made sure to arrange for Ethan to head to After School Care {for the FIRST time ever, because I had lost my keys.  The shame!}.  I had called Dave and he was on his way from South Auckland to give me the truck key off his key chain.  Everyone at work was scouring the building looking for my keys.

In desperation I picked up the tissue box on my desk and shook it.  Obviously I had set my keys on top and they had fallen in.  Dumbass.

Anywho, this is what I wore today {don’t laugh, I was feeling brave};
