Sunday Part 2: Slip 'n' Slide

I don’t really need to say much, the pictures really show how awesome the morning was! Exlporing North Head at 9am was a great idea, there was no-one around.
After a super fun week of celebrating Ethan’s 3rd birthday we have reached the end of the party (sigh….). It began on Tuesday with a special day at Kindy. The lovely teachers painted all of the children’s faces, made play-dough birthday cakes and Ethan handed out cupcakes made by Mum and Lolly-pops to his friends at the end of the morning; Then came Wednesday, Ethan’s actual birthday. He got a huge surprise when after opening all of his presents, we blindfolded him and took him outside where Dave threw him onto his new trampoline!

He was still half asleep as he checked out his inside prezzies…
…..then came the blindfold…

While I was up north on the girls trip, Ethan and Dave spent Saturday at the Auckland Zoo. They had such a primo day, the weather was great and the animals were pretty frisky from all accounts!
The unthinkable has happened, Ethan’s favourite ride-on-plastic-fantastic motorbike has done it’s last jump, completed its last lap around the yard, and had it’s last crash into Mum’s garden. The rear axle has blown out, we are still waiting for an insurance quote at this stage, …
