Dave and Nick had a primo after work session last night and returned home with the cooler full of snapper!  Go the soft bait, Dave reckons he is NEVER fishing with a pilly again! This was definitely Dave’s best catch to date!

How beautiful is this?  Dave & I made this in our fancy new dehydrator last night.  Ethan and Mum picked the strawberries and 8 hrs later voila! This flavour was strawberry-kiwi and we also made strawberry-apple-banana which was the yummiest.

Just to keep tradition alive (2007 pics here), we headed down to Waiake Beach again for another picnic dinner, this year with the Rhodes Family.  It was a beautiful evening, the kids and dogs had so much fun.  When it got dark we pulled the wagon back up the hill to Nick and Debbie’s house to see in the New Year.  The kids were supposed to be ‘camping’ in the poker room, but when 11.45pm rolled around and they were still up we conceded defeat and Ethan, Freya and Mckenzie were able to watch the Sky Tower fireworks display with us.  It was such a nice way to finish a great year.
