New Zealand mum Ella O’reilly is the one mum behind Onemum;
Ella’s foray into book writing started as a hobby – writing a book for her son and practicing an illustration style. When she looked into the idea of publishing, she was in the “we aren’t accepting new authors” pool. Having printing contacts, a graphic design background and knowing an existing self-published author to aspire to, she decided to go ahead on her own. With a bit of a number 8 wire marketing plan, (Facebook and a market stall) here she is with three books, a number of cool stockists nationwide, and an enthusiastic following.
