At 8am on Saturday morning we decided we were going camping. There was a few spots left in the campground at Mangowhai Heads, so we packed up the truck and set off. Keep in mind this is the First Official Jack Family Camping Trip.
We scored a spot in the best campground ever! Families all around us, right on the water and close to the kitchen, ammenities and showers. Plus the weather was amazing, not a cloud in the sky the entire weekend!
Our location was; (how did they know?)
View from the tent;
The beach at the end of Rum Alley;
Back at camp;
The Rum Alley Runners!
We wore them out at bedtime with rugby and ball-tiggy
Just because I love it!
The summer just seems to get better and better! This morning we went to Waiake with Ro, Dan, Zoe, Julz and Courtzie and walked around the Tor. It was such a nice morning and the kids were all lovely. After some errands, lunch and a nap, we hit Long Bay with Abby and Jesse. Our hubby’s brought us fish and chips for dinner to top off a beautiful afternoon.
He is so proud! For those of you who have never experienced the joys of swap-a-crate drinking, let me explain;
The crate is filled with 12 very large bottles of beer, once you have finished drinking them, you can return them to the wholesaler and swap your empty crate for a full one at a reduced rate. Magic.
We had such a primo New Years Eve at the Beach with our neighbours Megan, Greg and Summer! Lovely Fish ‘n Chips, dessert, drinks and friends – Ethan made plenty of new ones!
Happy New Year!
