Because I have 3 exams this semester and they start on :::::::THURSDAY:::::::, the boys spent the morning out and about so I could have peace and quiet to study. After hitting up a big garage sale where Ethan decided he needed to purchase some book-ends decorated with fish (of course) they had a good play with ol’ Jesse-boy and then headed to Murrays Bay Beach. The rest of the pics are in our back yard this afternoon after nap time.
When I got my new camera, Ethan realised he had an opportunity to get his mits on one of our old cameras. He took ALL of these pics – aside from the one with him in it of course!
Ethan’s Nana gave him the low down on portrait drawing this weekend, and here is his first masterpiece: Dave Jack; It really does look just like him!
There is this silly ad on TV at the moment where these guys hit each other on the head with wooden spoons, Ethan quite likes this ad (surprise, surprise), see below for fun with spoons!
So Ethan woke up from his nap today and we were playing around pretending to be cats…I was trying to get some cuddles out of him…..very unsuccessfully. So I said to him “Do you like kisses and cuddles?”, he replied with a resounding “NO, not anymore”. I pressed for more details, “When can I get kisses and cuddles again?”. My almost-three-year-old son replied definitively – “When you get a job!”. I guess the law has been laid down, save the classifieds for me.
Yay, it’s the weekend again! We kicked it off last night with an awesome dinner at Stu, Ro, Dan and Zoe’s house. The boys had so much fun outside on their motorbikes that the only place for them was the bath!
This morning we went to the live stage show of Thomas Saves the Day. It was so cool, Ethan was definately the perfect age to go to something like that, he sat transfixed throughout the entire performance!
Ethan’s great-nan is making him an awesome costume for Halloween so we drove out west today for a visit and to buy some fabric.
Dave and Ethan got to work in the kitchen and baked some peanut butter and white chocolate chip cookies!
