I'll be joining the @f45_training_massey fam for a zoom workout at 8am and then, I'm going to make protein pancakes for the first time. Want to join in? 6 days ago by melissajack_ Wednesday night. Friday night. Satdee til 1pm. All the hours on all the other days. This is my 4th year as Chairwoman of Kumeu Junior Rugby and this community is my life. I love it. But, last night was only the 2nd time I've seen Nix play this year. Partly because I have taken on running our jnr kitchen as well this year. But HECK! On the flip side, I don't know how I'll be able to let this go, I have the most amazing committee, we have come so far and the momentum is HUGE for our club right
1 week ago by melissajack_ My Just-For-Fun beginners Crossfit comp is less than a month away so it's about time I started learning the exercises! Wed is a rest day for me from @f45_training_massey so I purchased a medicine ball from @torpedo7 and found a spot at the rugby club to do some wall balls. 8 sets 25 reps, 3kg ball which is the specified female weight for the comp. Any tips appreciated as this girl has never done a CrossFit class so I'm completely winging it - because why not? #whatstheworstthatcouldhappen
1 week ago by melissajack_ A LEGIT IN-REAL-LIFE SUN FLARE FT THE GOOD HAIR! Today was my 8 weekly hair appt with @goldenhourwithjess and ohhhh the chat lol....... but also the hair. My hair is growing super fast for a change ( @doseandco , is it you?) and along with that good news, I've noticed a massive increase in "natural highlights" ‍♀️. Jess uses gel colour in my hair and did a few extra highlights to frame my face which is where my greys are multiplying rapidly. The result is just so sun-kissed and pretty, as per usual, and will grow out so beautifully. Thanks so much

I was pretty wrecked last night after 12.5hrs at the rugger club on Sat (Chairwoman life), followed by a brief appearance at a 40th and a mean F45 class on Sunday morning AND THEN lunch with the Massey #fitfam . I went to bed at about 3pm and didn't get up until my alarm went off at 5.45am this morning. Nix joined me, fell asleep in our bed and kept reaching out just to touch my face or hand, even when he was asleep. He just needed to be close to Mum I guess
