Due to “Ethan’s Fantastic Birthday” closely followed by “Ethan’s Fantastic Christmas”, space has been at a premium in the little boys room. He needed a new bed and a new bookshelf so we killed two birds with one stone and purchased a bunk set with only an upper bunk! Floor space reclaimed and a new desk for the little scholar; I have never seen him so proud of his room, he didn’t get down from his bunk until dinner time and could not wait to go to bed!
Santa/Nana/Grandad bought Ethan a bait catcher for Christmas, perfect gift? yes. He had pretty much been holding his breath in anticipation of catching those sprats; After he had discovered this ‘new species’ , he counted how many fish he had caught, only to find out …
This years Christmas Party was much better than the last. Ethan was under no pressure to dress-up as a King and perform in a pageant so there were no last minute costume changes with screams of “I want to dress up as ETHAN JACK not a king!!” See below;
The clown was a source of great worry for Ethan, who despite his classmates howls of laughter refused to crack a smile and sought a hug of reassurance half way through!
I couldn’t work out why Santa looked so weird but Ethan told me it was because Santa was so hot that he left his hat and mittens at home. He is so observant.
Ethan took this job very seriously but also really enjoyed writing every single card. Writing 14 Christmas Cards is no easy feat for a four year old but he took his time and was very proud of what he achieved;
