This afternoon we shopped for a few things, one of which was a new pair of sandals for Ethan.  Check out his first pair of  big boy flip flops!  I say this is a milestone for Ethan because it is super hard for him to walk in jandals, he picked these out however, and within 5 minutes he had it nailed.  My baby is growing up so fast.  

Tonight we signed Ethan up for his first season with our local Athletics club!  It was very exciting, of course Ethan was beaming ear to ear when he laid eyes on the 400m track he could run around, but it was exciting for us as well.  He had run a great 400m with his mate Isaac before I had even made it to the registration line!  Aside from the obvious health benefits and the introduction to competition, there was such a great community buzz at the registration.  There were hundreds of kids and their parents there, and it was so nice to see people we knew and would get to know better throughout the season.  He tried his hand at long jump and sprints tonight even though it was just registration; the first club night is next week and he can’t wait!
