Acquisitions | Chasee-Bee Organic Cotton Leggings

It’s pretty awesome when you find really cool + affordable kids clothes.  It’s pretty freaking awesome when those clothes are handmade ……… in New Zealand ……… by a Mum …….. with organic options!

Nix was gifted these Shroom Elk Leggings (RRP $22) by Chasee-Bee and we LOVE them!  I have bought so many pairs of leggings for this little guy and I have never seen such thick, snuggly soft organic cotton.  The cut and the fit is also spot-on, I’m really happy with the little bit of extra length as there is nothing worse than leggings that are a bit too short – Nix will also get much more wear out of them this way.  Plus, how cute do they look all slouchy over his wee moccs?

I know that you guys love to support handmade, so Chasee-Bee is generously offering 15% off all purchases using the code ‘THEBESTNEST’ xx

What I Wore | Jeans, Leggings, Boots

The weather in Aucks {and the rest of New Zealand} has been totally shit lately. Super cold, windy enough to blow one of our huge palms over and rainy rainy rainy. Hate. Every time I wear these boots I think “this HAS to be the last time I wear these guys in 2012”. But they always pop out of the closet for one last cameo.  What’s weird about this outfit is that the night after I wore it, I was flicking through my Pinterest Boards when I came across this pin – obviously the outfit had been filed in my subconscious for future inspiration!

I was also inspired by Kelly’s Preppy outfit post last week – loving this style, it’s very ‘me’…….somedays lol.

This outfit was definitely warm and cosy but I STILL had to layer up with my pea coat before we went out to dinner!  Brrrrrr.
