I was totally one of those girls that avidly scanned the beach for the perfect shell ring, until I found the next one and then the reject was relegated to a pendent, strung on a leather thong around my neck……for years.

nixon: typically, the most attractive, exciting place for you to be is where the big boys are. when there are blankets and pillows on the floor for rolling in, hidden dogs snuggling to discover and harass, and game controllers and remotes to obsess over, there is no place you’d rather be. of course it helps that the bigs turned around every thirty seconds to love all over you and shower you with kisses and tickles xx
ethan: we were housebound for the first five days of the holiday so when the sun came out we made the most of it. i took you, your bestie and nix hiking in the waitakere ranges on sunday and we had a blast. the recent rainfall made the waterfalls spectacularly deafening and the river was as high as we have ever seen it. you have been such a pleasure to spend time with these holidays, it will be a very quiet house when you go back to school!
