Water for Elephants – Sara GruenI can’t even begin to tell you how much I adored this book. I would read it again. I don’t often say that these days however this book is beautiful. The characters, imagery and locations conjure an amazing world of an olden day circus that is so far beyond our realm of understanding that you really don’t want the book to end. The dark side of this twisted tale is harsh and often slaps you out of the magical reverie Gruen creates, but the contrast works perfectly.
